Trying to talk to this guy is really difficult. He takes a while to actually look up and notice that you are talking to him.
I feel like he ignores people on purpose. I said a few things to him over the weeks. I just forced myself to talk to him, and I decided to be brave, for once. I asked him if he was European, what type of music he liked, ect. Sometimes he would only nod. Other times he would just say a few words and look back down. He does that to every single girl. To guys, he usually smiles or smirks. But still, he takes forever to respond and he gives awkward responses.
For the past weeks it's just been him nodding and answering. I notice him staring at me a few times, but I just shrug it off. So after weeks of me just trying to talk to him, I finally went to sit near him. I ask him a few questions, and I actually make him laugh. I say, "I like your hair." He says, "Ew, why? It's ugly." SO he opens up just a bit, he says a few more words, but after that, we just remained strangers.
Then another few weeks past, and it's spirit week and one day we have a substitute, and I just decide to sit at his table since no one was there. I asked him questions about he work, and he was all awkward, but then my two guy friends came, and we all started talking. We made jokes and he laughed hysterically and made some jokes himself. I had to get his paper so he was laughing especially hard. He said I was hilarious and when his friends asks him to come sit with them, he didn't and just stayed with us. Got the most awkward guy to laugh, yay.
